Minus One was founded by Mille Monferin, a designer with more than 37 years of experience in the denim world and collaborations with some of the most iconic brands in the industry. The brand’s philosophy is simple yet ambitious: to create jeans that offer comfort, quality, and the perfect fit, embodied in the concept of “The One Fit.” The name originates from a personal episode in Sweden, when Monferin discovered that under –1°C the indigo in his jeans would shift to a brighter, more intense shade. This moment inspired a narrative that blends nature, technique, and design, making denim something truly distinctive. Minus One also stands out for its attention to detail: two-tone stitching inspired by military wear, green and orange threads referencing MA-1 bomber jackets, belt loops integrated into the yoke, and a strong construction that ensures durability and personality.
